I LOVE my new workout DVDs. The series is called "Walk Away The Pounds" by Leslie Sansone. She actually measures the workouts by miles completed because of the combination of moves during a set time period. It is all up off the floor and it's fun! I actually want to get up early and workout with her. Viola sometimes joins me when she can.
Yesterday we had our Daddy/Daughter activity for Activity Day Girls. We had a brunch and it was a waffle bar. It went really well and seemed to be a big hit. We also worked on filling out pedigree charts, family group records and sharing family stories. We had all but 2 girls there and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Sunday Summary 10/5/2008
Conference was AWESOME, as usual. It went too fast for me. I'm glad I can go back and listen to the talks. One disadvantage of watching Conference at home is lots of interruptions. I know I missed some stuff.
I got my school pictures back this week. I can say I'm happy with mine. Last year when I had my picture taken for school I told myself I would weigh less this year and I do so that was a good day and I like my portrait.
Fitness Update
Well, I lost that pesky 1.8 I gained last week, plus 1.8 more for a total of 3.6 lbs this week. My 2nd biggest loss since beginning Weight Watcher's. I am so excited. I didn't think I would have such a great week since it didn't start off on the best foot. It feels good to know my hard work paid off.
I ordered some new workout DVDs after I got paid last week and they arrived yesterday. I am excited to begin them tomorrow.

Sunday Summary 9/28/2008
Busy weekend after an insane week!

Yesterday we had a Stake RS Dinner before the Satellite Broadcast and I had been asked to be on the committee. It was fun and I am also glad it's over! We had a baked potato bar and it went very well. The broadcast was also very enjoyable. It made for a busy day for me as I ended up being away from the house for 1/2 the day. In the morning I was needed at the Primary Program practice for a little bit so that kept me busy too. I played a piano duet of "I Feel My Savior's Love" with one of my piano students in the program. It went very well.
As I just mentioned today was our Sacrament Meeting Primary Program. Considering how chaotic the rehearsal went yesterday, today went well. I've never been to a more distracted rehearsal. It is nice to have it over though.
Next week is Conference Weekend and I am so looking forward to Conference. One of my favorite times of the year.
Fitness Update
Well, I knew it would happen somewhere along my weight loss journey. I gained some of my weight back. However, I am not discouraged. It is only 1.8 lbs and I plan to work hard to lose it again this week plus more. At least I am not starting over from scratch. It was a very stressful week for me and I think that was a huge contributor despite the fact that I kept my eating under control. I have been a stress eater in the past and I'm happy I didn't give in to that this week. I just kept reminding myself how hard I've worked to get this far and that was enough to keep me from binging.
